The Basics 101

SECTION: | RANK:

So you want to be an Elite Sniper, but don’t want to get there through strenuous trail and error? We don’t blame you. Compiled below are the TOP 6  things to understand about Sniper Arena.

1) Prepare to die… a lot.

First-person shooter games are not for the timid. Expect that everyone will try to kill you as soon as you step out into battle. Survival instinct has to kick in from the start. Instead of getting discouraged if you die as soon as you respawn, use this time to familiarize yourself with the maps. There are a limited number of maps, so it’s only a matter of time before you discover the enemy’s hiding spots. Remember, you’re a sniper, so load up your gear and go hunting!

2) Practice your Marksmanship.

The goal of snipers in any game is to take out the enemy in one shot. Make sure you practice your aim, because you might not get a second chance if you miss. The game controls are pretty straight forward and easy to learn. You just swipe, zoom and shoot. That doesn’t mean just tap away on your screen and expect headshots to roll in. Mastering your aim takes time and patience, but it is the number one skill you need to master. You don’t always need to get a headshot, though. Sometimes just shooting your enemy is enough.

3) If you can’t kill them, join them.

If you find yourself struggling on your own, there is no shame in calling for backup. Practicing in Team Deathmatches will help get you used to the combat system and controls, while teammates help take some of the heat off. Playing in teams can also be more beneficial when you’re starting out. You can learn how your high-level teammates maneuver and the types of gear they have equipped. Best option is to join a squad and take on other squads in group battles. Just don’t expect to get many squad invites if you only played a couple days and barely ranked up.

4) Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.

In case you haven’t done so already, check your gear. Ranking up is not enough to make you stronger. You need stronger gear if you want to keep winning. Upgrade your gear every chance you get, because every bit of improvement makes a difference in the game. Some upgrades can take days and a lot of money, so choose wisely or it will become costly.

5) Don’t be “that” player.

Always remember that you’re playing a global multi-player online game. You need to have a good stable connection to be able to play properly. If you are not confident in your mobile data signal, then it’s best to wait until you have a strong Wifi connection before playing. You don’t want to die repeatedly because of lag — and you better believe there will be lag. On top of that, your teammates will hate if they end up losing because you get dropped from the match.

6) Don’t Cheat!

It probably goes without saying, but “cheaters never prosper,” especially in Sniper Arena. Sites that promote “Sniper Arena Hack Cheat Online Generator” for unlimited diamonds and cash, is the quickest way to get banned from the game. Not only does Sniper Arena’s staff patrol these sites and hunts for abusive players, they have an in-game reporting system and encourage Facebook Messaging of offenders. Besides, Skill over Gear will still get you farther in this game.
